The Odyssey Big Boyd Rim is built in collaboration with pro rider Boyd Hilder to deliver a perfect balance of strength and weight for street and park riding. As the widest rim in Odyssey’s lineup, it’s designed to pair with larger tires and take abuse without flinching. Featuring a fully welded joint, thick outer walls, a low-profile angled brake track, and reinforced spoke beds, the Big Boyd is made to handle heavy impacts while staying dialed.

The Merritt P1 PC pedals have a low profile, concave body made from a lightweight nylon/fiber glass blend for strength and extended pedal life. The P1 pedals feature a micro-knurled base with embossed Merritt logo in the center, 12 molded pin per side for maximum traction and control, chromoly spindles and unsealed bearings with square end caps for a unique look.

The Sunday Silvawave Frame is built to the exact geometry and style preferences of street slayer Brett Silva. The full 4130 chromoly frame features the classic Sunday dent-resistant wave down tube to keep it clean and strong. Along with that, it includes a miter-cut top tube, which creates a precise joint with the seat stays during welding. This increases the strength substantially over frames that use a “sandwiched” top tube at this critical junction. Hollow 8mm wide dropouts are as light as a solid 5mm dropout, but over twice as strong. There is a small internal chain tensioner to hold the wheel in position and to simplify wheel installation and chain alignment.

The Silvawave frame uses the traditional 75° head tube angle and 71° seat tube angle. From there it has a 9.5" standover and a longer 13.45" to 13.7" chainstay, making it a very stable ride. Word on the street is this is the secret formula to get the most DIPPED t-bogs on the streets.

The Option tire takes a new look at what makes a good street tire, and goes way beyond just making a tread pattern that looks good. Featuring our Slidewall Technology which is our own ultra-hard low friction compound that helps reduce drag on grinds and increase the life of the tire sidewalls plus a ton of other features. The center section of the tire is smooth, so it is nice and fast, but the tread is actually thick for this section. The thicker tread has the benefit of increased shock absorption and then abruptly tapers down to a thinner thickness. By having the tapered tread connect to the thick center section, it offers support so there is no squirm and the tire is stable and at the same time reduces the tire weight because there is no benefit to the thicker tread on those sections of the tire.

Trails nowadays are nothing like they used to be, very little pedaling and/or braking and the dirt is usually rock hard, it doesn’t make sense to mimic MX tires (that have to accelerate, brake and turn in soft dirt) with big knobs anymore and BF rides a mix of everything, so his tire needs to work well on everything. That lead to giving the FT1 a relatively smooth center section, to make the tire fast. Turning is when an increase in grip (instead of outright speed) is needed, lean the bike over in a turn and the micro-knobs come into play. The micro-knobs provide a perfect balance of surface area, stability and space in between for when the dirt might be a little soft still. The micro-knobs actually stick up above the main surface a super small amount, this allows them to sink into that slightly soft dirt and give an increase in surface area contact, but the amount they are raised doesn’t negatively affect stability or grip on hard surfaces. At the edges of the tread pattern are smooth tread blocks that help protect the sidewall on ramps and street.

The last Cult x Vans Tire collab changed the tire game using a shoe outsole pattern in place of a standard tire tread. Now with all the advances Vans have made, namely their Wafflecup outsole, Cult have gone and upped their collab tires with Vans Wafflecup outsole pattern.

It's still Vans legendary Waffle design but now it's their BMX specific outsole pattern, makes sense to put that on a tire right?

It features the newest Vans Wafflecup pattern over the center of the tread with a more standard Waffle pattern on the sides. They're still highly durable with high-pressure sidewalls to minimize the risk of flats.
